“The reception at Number One Dental practice contains comfortable sofas and an open fireplace, giving the practice a relaxed and comfortable feel.”

We pride ourselves on our welcoming and non-clinical atmosphere, our patients are put at ease as soon as they walk through the door.

The practice has 2 surgeries that each contain modern equipment. A central sterilisation area enables us to maintain extremely high standards of cross infection control. Wherever possible we use disposable instruments and equipment; anything not single-use is sterilised following strict guidelines. All staff are trained in the comprehensive cross infection control policy that Number One Dental Practice has devised following British Dental Association guidelines.

Number One Dental Practice has a CBCT scanner that gives an overall view of the mouth so that any problems can be identified. This is especially useful in showing unerupted teeth, infections and periodontal (gum) health. This practice also uses digital X-ray machines which produce less radiation than traditional radiography equipment and enables images of your mouth to be displayed directly onto a computer screen, ready for you to view.

The practice has 2 ground floor surgeries and removable ramps are available on request to provide wheelchair access. If you are a wheelchair user, simply let us know at the time of booking your appointment and we will have the ramps ready prior to your arrival.
